NorQuest College offers professional and confidential counselling at no cost to registered students. Our educational counsellors, also known as success partners, are psychologists and possess a wide range of expertise and knowledge.
Educational counsellors provide students with guidance and assistance in coping more effectively with problems that interfere with academic achievement, personal growth, and career development:
- Personal: Adjustment, stress, self-esteem, interpersonal communications, family issues, addictions, anger, finances and budgeting, and motivation
- Crisis: Bereavement, illness, assault, harassment, suicide, and depression
- Education: Course planning and study skills, including note taking, memory strategies, exam preparation, coping skills for test anxiety, and test-taking strategies
- Career: Career choice, and interest and personality testing
- Referral: Referral to other NorQuest services or to community agencies

Services are available on a drop-in basis or make an appointment in person, by phone, or email. An Aboriginal counsellor is also available.
