NorQuest College offers professional and confidential counselling at no cost to registered students. Our counsellors possess a wide range of expertise and knowledge as psychologists and educators.

NorQuest College offers professional and confidential counselling at no cost to registered students. Our educational counsellors, also known as success partners, are psychologists and possess a wide range of expertise and knowledge.

Educational counsellors provide students with guidance and assistance in coping more effectively with problems that interfere with academic achievement, personal growth, and career development:

  • Personal: Adjustment, stress, self-esteem, interpersonal communications, family issues, addictions, anger, finances and budgeting, and motivation
  • Crisis: Bereavement, illness, assault, harassment, suicide, and depression
  • Education: Course planning and study skills, including note taking, memory strategies, exam preparation, coping skills for test anxiety, and test-taking strategies
  • Career: Career choice, and interest and personality testing
  • Referral: Referral to other NorQuest services or to community agencies

Services are available on a drop-in basis or make an appointment in person, by phone, or email. An Aboriginal counsellor is also available.
