Apprenticeship Prep
Program Overview
This program is designed to prepare you
for entry into one of 50 designated trades.
You will receive instruction in math, science,
computers, employability, and practical trades skills, all
of which will prepare you to write the Apprenticeship Entrance
Exam for levels 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. As well, you will complete
a work experience component in the area of your chosen trade.
Career Potential
The Apprenticeship Prep program will provide
the foundation you need to help increase your knowledge and
become a skilled tradesperson.
Admission Requirements
- Grade 8 English and math
- Career investigation
- Progression
- Students must attain a pass grade in each course to progress through the program. To qualify for graduation, students must pass all courses.
Credential
After successfully completing this program,
graduates will be awarded a NorQuest Apprenticeship Prep certificate.

Students in this program may be eligible
