Program Overview

This program is designed to move you from school to employment in a period of not more than six months. We will help you set career goals, develop essential skills, and prepare yourself for the workplace through up to four months of work experience. You will gain marketable skills and training with current equipment and practices and will receive ongoing support and mentoring from College staff. Progression

Students must attain a pass grade in each course to progress through the program. To qualify for graduation, students must pass all courses.

Credential

After successfully completing this program, graduates will be awarded a NorQuest Skills for Employment certificate.

You will have the opportunity to earn the following certificates during the duration of the program:

  • Short-term certificates related to specific industry sectors
  • WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System)
  • Level 1 First Aid
