Program Overview
Pursue a career in the print industry that
offers a potential salary of $40,000 to $60,000. Learn the
theory and application of today's printing processes such
as pre-press, offset press, bindery, and finishing techniques.
Career Potential
Graduates of the program will find employment
in printing companies, newspapers, pre-press and post-press
shops, screen print shops, and quick print shops.
Transferability
Students who have completed the Print Media
Production Certificate and meet program admission requirements
may receive first semester credits in the Digital Graphics
Communication program at SAIT.
Admission Requirements
- 50% in Grade 10 English and math
- Health/fitness status questionnaire
- Program interview
Progression
Students must attain a pass grade in each
course to progress through the program. To qualify for graduation,
students must pass all courses.
Credential
After successfully completing this program,
graduates will be awarded a NorQuest Print Media Production
certificate.
