I came to Canada from Nigeria. Life on campus has been amazing. I have broadened my experiences through making friends with people who are different from me. My ultimate goal is to promote social justice in the world through being a social worker. This is not only a duty of the wealthy or socially empowered, it is a responsibility given to every human to provide, promote and protect. NorQuest College has given me the tools to accomplish this.
As a new immigrant to Canada, I have been blessed to experience many opportunities that would not have been available to me in my home country. I love the NorQuest ambassador program, the curriculum of NorQuest’s Social Work diploma program, and the volunteer adventures that will last a lifetime. I consider myself an overall student scholar. When it comes to the community, I am a faithful, compassionate and unselfish citizen, and I am looking forward to all that NorQuest has to offer.
