WebClass

If you live outside Edmonton or are a student learning from home, accessibility to courses may be one of your challenges. Our WebClass offerings can assist you in meeting your educational goals. We offer two WebClass options to accommodate your needs and availability. WebClass (Live) and WebClass (Flex).

Our WebClass online courses are interactive state-of-the-art multi-media presentations that allow students to participate in a class-like setting.

WebClass (Live)

Using Elluminate Live! and the Internet, instructors and students meet daily online at a specific time.

The following WebClass (Live) courses are available during the day and run online from September until the end of January and again from February until the end of June:

• Science 10
• Biology 20, 30
• Chemistry 20, 30
• Physics 20, 30
• Social Studies 10, 20, 23, 30, 33
• Financial Management
• Pure Math 10, 20, 30
• Applied Math 10, 20, 30
• Math 31
• Aboriginal Studies 20
• Legal Studies

Evening and summer WebClass (Live) courses are scheduled as well, and run subject to enrolment. In addition to the courses listed, we also offer the following:

• English Language Arts 10-1, 10-2
• English Language Arts 20-1, 20-2
• English Language Arts 30-1, 30-2
• Pre-Trades Math and Science

During the day, an online tutorial service is also available.

WebClass (Flex)

If your schedule does not allow you to attend daily classes or even night classes, then WebClass (Flex) may best suit your needs. WebClass (Flex) courses are interactive online courses that allow you to access course lessons and material any time. Courses are offered from September to the end of December and again from January to the end of Apr.. The following WebClass (Flex) courses are presently offered through NorQuest College:

• Pure Math 20
• Pure Math 30/ Pure Math 030
• Math 31
• Pre-Trades Math
• Pre-Trades Science
• Physics 30/Physics 030

Online tutorial help for WebClass (Flex) students is available daily from 8:30 am until 4:30 pm.
