Get ready for a thought-provoking program that will challenge your current thinking on efficient print production. This workshop provides a comprehensive understanding of world-class Lean Manufacturing principles and strategies, and introduces Lean Manufacturing as an imperative to the economic vitality of the print and graphic communications industries.
During your two days with us, you will learn all about Lean Manufacturing and its direct application to the print industry. The concepts of Lean will be discussed along with case studies of print industry firms undergoing a Lean Transformation. Experiential exercises to engage participants in the learning process are included along with discussion of concepts.
Included in the registration is a hosted dinner offsite Tuesday evening where workshop instructors will facilitate discussions with participants on their specific issues around implementing Lean in their businesses. This personalized experience allows participants to directly engage the workshop leaders in a unique way and ensures they leave with the tools required to take the first steps on their own Lean Pathways.

September 8 (Tuesday) - The program runs from noon to 5 p.m. followed by dinner with the workshop presenters beginning at 6:30 p.m.
September 9 (Wednesday) - The program begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. after lunch. This allows attendees to participate following the Skills Competition in Calgary from Sept. 1 to 7, 2009
