Program Overview
The Hope Studies Certificate program follows the philosophy that a greater understanding of the influence of hope, in our own lives and the lives of others, can positively influence quality of life, health outcomes and job satisfaction. If you are employed in a caring occupation or seeking a more hopeful journey in life, you will be inspired and energized by this course of study.
This three-course program integrates personal reflection, practical strategies and research. Designed for small groups, courses must be taken in order. A written, reflective assignment is due three weeks following classroom instruction. Development is underway for online delivery of Hope Studies.
*This course was developed in partnership with the Hope Foundation (link http://www.ualberta.ca/HOPE/) of the University of Alberta
