International Student Admission Guide

NorQuest College is a public, postsecondary institution serving 10,000 students annually. We accept applications from individuals from around the world. Serving students from over 125 countries, NorQuest offers a truly diverse, multicultural learning experience. Most of the programs and courses described in our calendar are available to international students.

NorQuest College offers programs in English language training and academic upgrading as well as certificate and diploma programs in health, business, industry, and human services. Diploma and certificate programs are geared toward preparing students for entry into the workplace or transfer options to other post-secondary institutions. Academic upgrading increases students’ job opportunities and enables students to meet the specific academic course requirements for certificate, diploma, or degree programs at post-secondary institutions. English as a second language programs help students learn to communicate with confidence in a variety of situations and prepare for further academic studies or employment. Our skills assessment services, recognition of previous learning, and variety of programs make NorQuest an excellent choice for international students.

Located in the capital city of Alberta, Edmonton is a safe and friendly city of one million people with hundreds of parks and recreational sites. Edmonton has a lot to offer including a variety of restaurants, galleries, museums, festivals, theatres, sporting events, and recreational activities. The nightlife in Edmonton is also fun and exciting. Look forward to dinner theatres, movie theatres, dance clubs, live jazz and blues bands, comedians, and concerts.
